Natalie, there is stuff all over the net about Mimi Rothschild, Howard Mandel, Einstein Academy, Learning by Grace and it looks to me like just about none of it is good. There is also a lot on a Mimi Rothschild who is (was?) a dollmaker. I have been sniffing around and contacting some doll people and it looks like it's the same Mimi Rothschild. Are these Rothschilds gypsies? Dolls, then homeschools! What's going on???Why has Daryl Cobranchi been so quiet about this for the past week?

I noticed that, too. According to her email exchange with him, she has taken other parties to court. He may just be laying low. He's also (according to the blog) traveling a lot.I hope he updates soon. Let us know what you dig up!

Greetings:I'd like to simply suggest that if anyone has any questions that they contact me or Ms. Rot hsch i ld via email directly. Unfortunately blogs, while they are a wonderfully incredible part of what the Internet can offer, the also offer a vast feeding ground for conjecture, gossip and misinformation, slander and libel. Slander and libel are not something to be taken lightly... the punishments that the laws of our country allow verify that position. Ms. Ro ths ch ild has and will ( and SHOULD ) prosecute slander and libel as any upstanding citizen should.I rarely respond to blogs because they often are just venues for gossip. However I sense that some on this board are truly interested. For those who are interested... who are serious... I will privately answer any and all legitimate questions without reserve. I won't respond to opinions veiled as questions, rude and/or sarcastic messages. But if you are truly interested please feel free to email your questions to hmandel at gmail dot com.-HMP.S.- BTW, yes, most major Internet businesses get daily synopsis reports of web activity like blogs. Mostly they are not read in full but just a line or two.

Congratulations, Natalie! You previously wrote "it's not *me* she is threatening". It looks like you have awakened them (again) to give even newer life to this story! And note how clever they think they are by breaking up the spelling of their names to avoid search results, even though this blog is filled with the right spellings. Keep us posted. We can start a defense fund for you too! Have you called the HSLDA?

Michelle: Appreciate the response but don't forget a few things. First is that if you truly have any questions I'll be more than happy to answer them directly. Secondly, in terms of the publicity, please remember that most companies consider any publicity "good" publicity. For instance, from my post in this blog I have received 5 emails from (seemingly) unrelated people with legitimate questions that I have had the opportunity to answer. Also remember that publicity helps to increase page rankings and search engine placements... this is all good for Internet companies and we appreciate the exposure. There is always gossip and while the Internet allows the expansion of such nonsense it also affords the ability to respond in a public way that gets us more publicity. This is good for us. The opportunity to address rumor and inuendo is good. Just as the obligation to defend against slander and libel is one of the freedoms that our country affords.Again, if anyone has any questions they can contact me directly.-HMP.S.- The reason that many Internet users break up names and email addresses is that automatic spiders scan most blogs for names and email addresses that are used to send SPAM... I don't know about you but I get enough of it. If you want to reduce SPAM simply break up your name and/or email address like I did in my post above. This simple action defeats spiders that are scanning for email addresses.

Based on my reading about you and your exploits, you are making me think you're a couple of sociopaths (believe me, I've dealt with sociopathic people before; they typically do whatever they want to whoever they want and then say "who, me?" when they get called on it).

i think u r very mean. i’m a 9th grader at grace and heard about what u have been saying when i talked to another girl who goes there online today. she said her mother was really mad about what u r saying because it is a lie. i don’t get it…what is your problem? do you have kids that go there? i love grace! it’s so much fun and the teachers are soooooooooooooo nice! i don’t know why you don’t like that teacher Mimi, i’ve never had her. all of my teachers are really great though. they’ve taught me so much. i think you should stop saying bad things about my school.~*~*Jen*~*~

(and if that's the best a ninth grader at Grace can do, you can keep it.)As for feeling threatened, I haven't gone beyond linking to Mimi's very own words and those which have been reported by the media. I, personally, have done nothing libelous or slanderous (...but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night...).Mimi, if you have anything you'd like to clear up, you may do it here. I will not be contacting you directly.
